Composer and pianist Irene Becker is Danish, but years of travelling have acquainted her with music from all over the world. Also a native Dane, flautist Charlotte Halberg received her basic musical training in London and New York. Chinese Yu Jun is the third generation in a family dynasty of guzheng players.

On XONG FOR THE BLUE MOON (2006) these three women each contribute original compositions and improvisations as well as the personal flavour of their diverse musical backgrounds.
